Steel Material Handling Operator

Purpose

This position is responsible for managing all materials (goods received and shipments) in our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Print stickers and identify all the incoming material with both stickers and color code.
• Responsible for shipping and receiving goods.
• Visual inspection to all incoming material and report any non-conformance material.
• Make sure that all plans of shipments with proper information are executed with accuracy to send the information to our internal customers.
• Maintain the warehouse - keep clean and keep corridors free of materials or objects.  
• Manage the warehouse cranes.
• Use all safety equipment and make safety the priority every day.
• Perform the monthly physical inventory count.
• Update daily ERP.
• Maintain all documents (packing list, deliveries, returns with stamp and sign) in a secure file and place.
• Receive with proper attention all external customers.
• Make spaces for further materials according to instructions or lay-out.
• Maintain the quarantine area with good control and traceability.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Fluent in English
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency
• Excellent communication skills
• Applies all safety training and skills

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in materials handling/warehousing and crane/forklift experience
