Purpose
The purpose of this position is to continuously advance FSP Steel Processing with respect to safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting tactics to meet business plan objects in safety, quality, execution, and cost.
- Improve equipment and process SOEE utilizing available data to prioritize work.
- Coordinate day light maintenance and contracted services and repairs based upon asset operating schedules.
- Ensure execution of shutdown/outage work to a predetermined budget and schedule.
- Ensure training and training manuals are updated for both operation and maintenance personnel.
- Communicate affectively across business departments – reliability excellence, operations, maintenance, demand planning, quality systems etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of experience in manufacturing or supervising
- Associate’s degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field with 2 years of experience in manufacturing or supervising
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field with no experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 7 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or maintenance supervising
- Associate’s degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field with 4 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or maintenance supervising
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering or a related field with 2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or maintenance supervising
