Internship Assignment: Full Time – Summer 2025

  • Assist electrical engineers and analysts in the analysis and improvement of the distribution system
  • Assist electrical engineers and analysts in power distribution asset management
  • Day to day troubleshooting of systems and customer needs
  • Prepare technical specifications for equipment procurement
  • Appropriately document and complete work orders in the computerized maintenance management system
  • Work with an experienced engineer mentor

 

Internship Qualifications:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2025 semester
  • Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
  • Preferred majors: Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Tech, Electrical Power Utility Tech
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
