Purpose
The Order Entry Representative position requires a meticulous and detail-oriented individual who will handle the tasks of processing customer orders and ensuring the accuracy of entered data. This entails a detailed review and analysis of customer and commercial information that enables accurate representation of the customer requirements in terms that facilitate manufacturing accuracy and performance through shipment of product. This requires an understanding of product capability and basic metallurgy.
Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming emails/orders
- Verify purchase order information for accuracy and completeness.
- Contract review ensuring order details are complete, accurate, and correct
- Communicate with CRM to clarify order details as needed.
- Customer specific details
- Analyze issues and present alternative solutions to designated sales associates
- Create/Maintain customer detail specs
- Maintain and promote accurate customer master information records in order system
- Responsible for completed orders to be uploaded to OnBase
- Ensure acknowledgment of orders
- Tracking and logging order entry metrics in support of enhancing the customer experience
- Initiate continuous improvement and implementation
- Maintain training documents and standards for internal process
- Participate in outside audits to maintain ISO certification and Sox Audits

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent with at least two years customer support experience
Or
Associate's of Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related
Preferred Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent with at least three years customer support experience
Or
Associate's of Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related with at least two year's experience
