This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. 

 

Purpose and Scope

This position exists to provide customer service and support to customers regarding their orders.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Order Management
    1. Process PO changes initiated by the customer with high-level of data integrity.
    2. Perform contract validation
  2. Manage sales activities and overall business relationships for a variety of complex customer  accounts with heavy service requirement.  (Support outside sales)
  3. Create and maintain in a positive relationship with our customers
  4. Customer and Contact Data management
  5. Customer contract, forecast and product line awareness
  6. New opportunity processing / process inquiries along with inquiry assessment
  7. Communicate re-promises, dispo, shortages and overages to customer
  8. Provide accurate sales forecasts
  9. Enter short term (this week & next) customer ship schedules into SAP
  10. Shipment availability & release
  11. Customer Service Interface – portal training, leads, call reports
  12. Initiate continuous improvement
  13. Participate in SOX audits as appropriate
  14. May be required to provide data to management and provide information for KPIs as needed.
  15. Communicate customer volume requirements timely and bring deviations to attention of DP
  16. Lead continuous improvement efforts
  17. Resource on IT projects that impact to our area
  18. Train the team on changes that impact our area
  19. Update training documents as appropriate

 

Technical Skills

  • Problem solving skills that lead to continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Use of tools such as D365, CORE, ICE, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Cognos, Order Source, Microsoft Teams, etc.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • SAP experience preferred

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of customer service experience or related
  • Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, or related with 1 year of customer service experience or related
